Read the text
Last week my friends and I went to Way Kambas national Park. Way Kambas National Park located in northern Lampung and the famous from way kambas zoo is elephant.
We began our trip in Way Kambas National Park . We started from our school by using bus. We can arrive in Way Kambas National Park during three hours. During our trip we saw many beautiful scenes, we sung a song together in the bus and we enjoyed the trip.
When we arrived in Way Kambas National Park , the first we bought the tickets. The cost of the tickets is about Rp. 15.000,-. After that we saw many big elephants with their children. Elephants ate grass or banana trees. We saw not only the elephants in Way Kambas National Park but also we saw the other animals, for example deer, Sumatra tigers, bird and other interesting animals that live wildly.
Next we saw the elephant’s attractions. They started from dancing with accompaniment of musical skills attractions like the circus. For example, they played ball, shook hand, respectful, draped flowers, and swam. We not forgot to ride the elephant. The elephant is friendly with people. There were so many tourist visited there.
Finally, we went home. It was a most enjoyable trip. My friends and I certainly would not mind returning again some day.

Explanation of Materials.
Recount text is a piece of text that retells past events, usually the order in which they happen. The purpose of a recount to give the audience a description of what occurred and when it occurred. The steps for constructing a written recount are:
1. A first paragraph is orientation (give information background who, what, when, where happen).
2. A series paragraph that retell the events.
3. The last paragraph is concluding.
Language features in recount text:
1. Proper noun to indentify those involved in the text
2. Descriptive words to give details about who, what, when, why, and how.
3. The use past tense
4. Words that show the order of events.
